About Fluorite

Fluorite crystals, every one a one of one. Fluorite is calcium fluoride, and it gave us the word fluorescence: plenty of pieces glow under UV light. It grows in sharp cubes and octahedrons and comes in nearly every color, often several in one crystal.

Our fluorite specimens come from localities like Zhejiang, Fujian, Inner Mongolia and Hunan in China. At 4 on the Mohs scale it scratches easily, so it's a shelf stone, not a pocket stone. Every mineral comes with a stand and label.
