About Amethyst

Amethyst quartz, the purple one everybody knows. Amethyst is quartz, and its color comes from iron in the crystal. Strong sunlight can fade it over time, so display it bright but not blasted.

Our amethyst specimens come from all over: Veracruz in Mexico, Bolivia, Brazil, Uruguay, South Africa and Sichuan in China. Every piece is one of one and comes with a stand and label.
