About Azurite

Azurite, the deepest blue in the rock world. Azurite is a copper carbonate, and over time it can alter into green malachite, which is why you'll often see the two together.

Our azurite specimens come from localities like Guizhou and Anhui in China, Mapimi in Mexico and Touissit in Morocco. It's soft and light-sensitive, so display it out of harsh sun. Every piece is one of one and comes with a stand and label.
